2019 ECOSTAR RESULTS AND OUTLOOK FOR 2020
2019 was a significant year in the history of the Ecostar brand. In addition to the generational management change that took place in January 2019, the company saw its turnover grow by 16% compared to the already excellent results achieved in 2018.
More customers have placed their trust in Ecostar, deciding to equip their businesses with an innovative screening technology, able to process materials in a more efficient way and consequently bring a significant advantage in terms of increased revenues and reduced management costs.
This result would’t have been possible without the support of the Ecostar’s international dealer network. Currently the company has official distributors in France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the MENA region, Germany, Spain, the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, India, and is progressively establishing commercial partnerships in all major markets.
Commercial structure development & R&D
To better assist dealers and end customers, Ecostar has strengthened its sales structure with an area manager for the MENA region, an area manager for Italy while taking into account a future area manager for the Asia Pacific.
At the same time, the R&D, design and production activities are also boosted, with new engineers and new specialized technicians for external interventions, to meet the growing demand for the Ecostar products.
The assembly lines are also undergoing a lean reorganization, in order to optimize production processes and maintain the high quality standards that have always been part of Ecostar’s production philosophy.
Projects for 2020
2020 is an important year in terms of new products because, in line with its mission, Ecostar is brininging to the market a new innovative technology. Hyper Dynamic Disc Screening, already previewed at Ecomondo 2019, a technology that Ecostar started to market in January 2020.
This is an evolution of the dynamic disc screening system specifically designed for difficult materials such as plastic bags or filamentous materials that tend to twist or clog the screening surface. Therefore, a technology particularly suitable for those who operate in the separation of municipal solid waste, the separation of organic waste and the screening of industrial waste.
